Table Runners

About a year ago my mom talked me into going to enrichment night with her. That night they did a class on dinner entertaining and how to make it simple and inexpensive. Well they made table runners and I thought they were so cute, turns out they are so unbelievably easy to make. it is only 2 cuts of fabric and a few stitches to put these together. Many of you may have received these as gifts from me. The black and white one shown below is a wedding gift for a friend of mine who was married yesterday!

This brown and tan with the pumpkins was on top of my small book shelf during to fall season. the best part about these table runners is that you use so little fabric that you really can use expensive cuts of fabric and it still does not cost very much.

This is a Christmas one I made just a few weeks ago. I wanted to display my nativity on my book shelf but did not know how to do so. My hubby is the one to said to make another table runner and so I went to the fabric store and they had all of their holiday cuts on sale it cost me 3.24 to make this Christmas table runner I was so excited.

Finally

I have finally had the time to post a picture of my sign all hung with our stockings on it. I really loved the way it turned out. I have more blogs to come about other crafts I just have to find a minute to post them, I promise they will follow shortly.

The Sockings Were Hung

This year I decided to make this cute sign for Christmas. We dont have a fireplace and every year I struggle with where to put our Stockings. This is not a great picture and it is not yet hung on my wall but hopefully in a day or two it will be. It was way easy to make I just cut the Vinyl lettering out on my Cricut, did a little painting paid a little visit to the hardware store and I was done. I will post a picute when it is secure on the wall.
